Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj, the Indian operations of Jones Lang LaSalle, is the premiere and largest real estate professional services firm in India.
As Chairman & Country Head of Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj, Anuj Puri is responsible for the overall direction, strategy and growth of the firm.
What is your greatest achievement in your career?
Actively implementing the merger between Trammell Crow Meghraj and Jones Lang LaSalle to form Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj – India’s pre-eminent real estate consultancy.
What is your vision for the Indian property market?
Foreign investors affected by the recession in the west see India's strong economic fundamentals and the continued strength of the real estate market as a desirable investment alternative. As far as the growth story of India’s real estate sector is concerned, we are still only on Chapter One.
What is your advice to young Indian professionals wishing to join the
property profession?
The Indian real estate sector holds tremendous promise for trained and dediccated professionals - all those who wish to enter it should have their fundamentals and goals firmly in place and develop a learned understanding of the market.
